Darija Vračević to represent Serbia at Junior Eurovision!

Serbian broadcaster RTS have now announced that Darija Vračević will represent Serbia at Junior Eurovision this year with the song Podigni Glas (Speak Up).

Earlier in the Junior Eurovision season, RTS opened up the song submission period for any interested singers and songwriters. After the submission period closed, the selection committee listened to the candidates and their songs and made their selection.

The song that will represent Serbia is titled Podigni Glas, and was written by musicians Aleksandra and Leontina. The song is yet to be released, and can be expected in the coming weeks.

About Darija

Darija is 11 years old, and was born in the Serbian capital, Belgrade. She is a top student at school, and she also attends music school where she studies the piano. She has participated in various music festivals in both Serbia and abroad.

Apart from singing, Darija is also an actress and has performed in the children’s musical Tesla and the Battle at the Magnetic Field. She has also done dubbing for Disney/Pixar, Paramount and Nickelodeon. She also loves to dance, and has won medals at dance festivals in Serbia.
